Senior ICT Applications Developer

Job Summary

Software tester responsible for testing the application changes to make sure they fulfil all the given requirements and designed solutions, without any deviations and leaving any unwanted loop holes with in, to make sure STC delivers top class software for its stakeholders and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the requirements and solutions documents for clear test scope visualization.
• Document Test Cases / Procedures and perform test executions (in manual and automated modes).
• Architect and generate Test Plans.
• Automate and execute test cases, manage defects and report testing status to product teams.
• Hands on experience with best in class test automation tools and defect management tools is preferable.
• Use best practices to devise test methodologies and test strategies that provide complete coverage of requirements Create and execute automated system tests to replicate real-world business scenarios.
• Capture and Analyze Test Results.
• Identify, Isolate and Track Bugs throughout software testing. Analyze the root cause for testing failures and open appropriate defects with sufficient findings.
• Should be a team player and also able to Work Independently when required.
• Work Closely With Development and Quality Assurance Teams.
• Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
• Generate traceability matrices all the way from user stories or business requirements to automated test cases.
• Be creative, independent, self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
• Possess strong analytical skills and be an out of box thinker.

Qualifications/Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related area.
