Senior Specialist Engineer - Planning

Job Summary

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Specialist Engineer – Planning with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to work as part of their Engineering Group and will be reporting to DPE Project Delivery Manager.

Core Responsibilities required as below

• Provide project planning and progress reporting service to assigned offshore projects in accordance with Company rules through all stages of the project life cycle.
• Ensure planning activities are properly aligned with scope and cost information to apply integrated project control approach
• Make sure that planning reporting is accurate and fully reflects status of the assigned projects
• Liaise closely with other project delivery areas such as Project Management, Engineering and Design, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction
• Act as planning matter expert for other project stakeholders
• Provide projects input into Integrated Asset Plans (28 / 90 Day)

Skills / Qualifications

Experience Profile

• Minimum 10 years of project planning experience in Oil and Gas sector working for recognized Contractors and / or Operators
• Experience in planning Brownfield projects is essential
• Experience in Project Management and Opportunity Development work processes

Requirements

• Engineering degree
• Fluent English and good communication skills
• Proficient use of Primavera P6 planning package
• Proficient use of MS Excel
• Ready to travel
