The foundation for Sezin School was laid when Sabahat Sezin decided to enroll her daughter into private lessons for college exams back in 1963. The kindergarten and the elementary school that were launched in a small apartment have now been transformed into an institution that is a source of pride for Turkey with its campus on 20,000 square meter, education at world standards, a primary school, and a high school.
The educational philosophy of Sezin School is based on the idea of its founder, Sabahat Sezin, that "there is definitely an area in which every child is talented". While being one of the top schools in regards to academic achievement, we also enable our students to develop in a wider sense and set the conditions that will enable them to reach their maximum potential by discovering their skills in social, artistic, and athletic fields.
Sezin is a "family school". Not solely due to the fact that its founders and owners are from the same family, but because it approaches all its parents, teachers, and employees as being parts of a large family. With the awareness that every individual learns differently, our middle school program highlights the strengths of our students, helps them overcome their weaknesses, and offers them the opportunity to get to know themselves. The students we monitor and evaluate discover their competencies and their own particular way of learning. In other words, they develop the ?learning ability? they will need throughout their lives.
Our educational program steps outside the classroom with interdisciplinary projects, activities, and excursions, and encourages students to explore, research, produce, and share. Middle school students learn to challenge tough situations and embrace mistakes while developing their basic skills, such as original and flexible thinking, and reasoning, along with individual and collective work. Each individual takes important steps on their own path to the future in an environment based on sincerity and trust.

Our priority at the Private Sezin High School is to ensure that every student has the ability to shape their own future. At our high school, which functions as a ?Life Center,? our students can collectively enrich their lives and realize their dreams by obtaining knowledge and sharing what they have learned. They actively participate in many projects and activities in academic, social, national and international fields. In short, they learn by doing.
The wide range of high school activities encourage our students to take initiative, to think and act socially, to dream, and to work towards their dreams. As their preferences start to become clearer, our students learn to see failure as an opportunity to try again on their path towards a specific goal.
Our training program, which we support through international projects, field studies and conferences, allows our students to learn at least two foreign languages. Embracing intercultural communication and interaction, our students design their own future from a futuristic perspective and do not limit their lives in fear of taboos.
