Welcome to the Shepparton Christian College website. Shepparton Christian College is a school for students from Foundation (Prep) to Year 12. Our programs are focused around helping our young people grow with strong academic, practical, social and spiritual knowledge, all cemented in a strong Biblical Christian foundation. We offer a broad range of programs. The Curriculum is designed to meet the requirements of the Australian Curriculum with Biblical Worldview integrated into our teaching and learning programs. Our VCE program is tailored to meet the needs of our young people looking to head towards tertiary studies or employment post schooling. Our VCAL program offers options for those students with practical skills who are looking to enter employment, traineeships or TAFE post schooling. These pathways are supplemented by VET is programs that run in Shepparton.
Our students have opportunities to engage in a wide variety of co-curricular programs, including instrumental music tuition and concert band, chapel worship bands, intra and interschool sports and student leadership programs, to mention just a few. Our dedicated and caring teaching team provide strong teaching and learning that is designed to challenge and engage. We have excellent grounds and facilities that, together with our community, enhances student learning.
Shepparton Christian College seeks to serve the broader Christian community with a wide range of Churches/denominations represented both in the student/parent and staff of our school. As a school we seek to help each student in our care to learn and grow, to develop their God given gifts, talents and abilities and to seek the Lord’s will in their lives. A school which seeks to instil Christian morals and values through its curriculum, its teaching practice, and administration. A school which would motivate students to reach their own highest level of potential in spiritual, emotional, academic, and physical excellence. A school which would seek academic excellence by preparing students to meet the established educational standards and requirements of the State of Victoria, and would do so from Preparatory classes to the Victorian Certificate of Education.
