Educating our children on the upcoming changes and demands of our century is a challenging task of high importance. Our students experience a multicultural environment, with bilingual teaching in Portuguese and English through the immersion method.

All classes and investigations are done in both languages, which guarantees a secure space for students to investigate and acquire deep and lasting knowledge. It will be a pleasure to receive you and show you in more detail what our mission and the work conducted in the day-to-day are comprised of. We are the only school in Brasília to offer the IB Organization's Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).

Bilingual learning on a daily basis, from preschool through to secondary school and college (starting in 2023) – learning for life. We combine the Brazilian curriculum with elements of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and teach in English alongside Portuguese by immersion.

We combine the Brazilian curriculum with the programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organization, as well as with curricula developed by SIS in key areas to enrich learning with relevant and meaningful content and, at the same time, promote bilingualism. We have implemented the SIS IT Curriculum and the SIS Writing Curriculum.

A place to learn and thrive. Our excellent academic curriculum is supplemented with a range of activities and offers outside the classroom to enrich learning experiences during the school day.

We are convinced that the place where students learn has a decisive influence on how they learn. In Brasília, we therefore place great importance on an open school space that provides a welcoming atmosphere to students, staff, parents and guests alike, thus creating a pleasant overall environment.

Indoor Sports Hall
Our large indoor sports hall hosts a variety of sports lessons during the week and is the place for our weekly school assembly for all year levels on Friday mornings.

Cafeteria
Our day school structure makes our cafeteria a key part of school life. Centrally located in the building, with bright sunlight, SIS Brasília's cafeteria is a spacious environment where students can enjoy meals together.

Adventure Park
A playground where children can climb, balance, use the slides and swings, or use their creativity to create stories and play games. A lively space dedicated to free play.

Biology Lab
In our biology laboratory, our students can find state-of-the-art scientific school equipment to assist them in research with the support of specialised teachers.

Computer Lab
A space that includes modern equipment and an infrastructure that accompanies the use of Office 365 in learning.
