As a student at STC there are times when you might need to access our study material when you are not on campus. Our technology partners have created discount programs for any STC student.

Southern Technical College offers an alternative path to college. If you are one of the thousands of those in Florida who are looking for post-secondary education, but don’t have a GED or high school diploma, Southern Technical College may have a program for you!

Our Career Pathways program allows you to take classes and earn your GED. Applicants of the Career Pathways program will be evaluated before entry. Qualified students will be enrolled in GED prep courses taken along with their scheduled course training. Attendance is mandatory in the GED prep courses and in course training classes. Students will be required to attend weekly advising sessions with our staff. Students will be required to attempt the GED test by the end of the 6th month of attendance.

Southern Technical College has an open admissions policy that allows people who are high school graduates or who have successfully completed equivalent education as certified by state departments of education to be admitted.
