With the successful launch of its first mission to Mars, the UAE became the first Arab nation to launch an interplanetary mission and walk among space-faring nations. But the story does not end here. In its continued efforts to instill a sense of discovery and exploration in young minds, the UAE is now in the process of developing The Mars Science City, aiming to build the knowledge and scientific capabilities that will enable us to establish the first inhabitable human settlement in Mars by 2117, known as the Mars 2117 Strategy.

To ensure our youth’s role in the ever-growing space sector, the UAE Space Agency has introduced a number of programs for our young minds, enabling them to fuel their ambitions, thinking beyond the scope of becoming an astronaut. These programs give our youth the chance to expand their horizons and prepare them into becoming entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists, as well as, astronauts. Space is the future.
