SRKR Engineering College

Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Engineering College (SRKR Engineering College), is a co-educational, independent and a private Engineering college. It was formed in the 1980s to provide a better quality technical education to students. The college is located on a 30 acres plot in Chinna-Amiram on the Bhimavaram - Juvvalapalem state highway, 2 miles from Bhimavaram town, that is well known as “Second Bardoli” and is famous for “Pancharamas” (Somaramam). It was founded in the year 1980 by donations from Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju.

The College was registered under the section 2 (f) of the UGC Act and it is eligible to receive central assistance under section 12 (b) of UGC. The College is recognized by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and the Institution of Engineers (India).

The college is presently affiliated to JNTU, Kakinada from 2017-18 admitted batch. The college Offers 6 UG Courses, 7 PG Courses and 5 Ph.D. Programmes.

The College has a cluster of beautiful and spacious buildings with state of art laboratories, class rooms, seminar halls and play ground. Eco-friendly environment is developed in the campus with lot of greenery, landscape lawns and gardens. S.R.K.R. Engineering College was established with a mission to develop the college into a centre of Excellence in the field of Technical Education, capable of training students as sound professionals to cater to the needs of the society in the fields of production and service sectors.
