Welcome to St. Gregory’s Catholic Primary School At St. Gregory’s, we aim for every one of our pupils to develop a lifelong love of learning and an appreciation of the wonders of our world, underpinned by the principles of the Christian faith.

We value each of our pupils and strive to nurture and develop the unique talents they bring to our school.  We want our learners to be resilient in the face of challenge and feel inspired and supported as they progress on their learning journey with us.

Our staff are deeply committed - their hard work enables us to refine and improve our curriculum to meet the need of all of our learners. We are ably led by the Governing Body, many of whose members work in schools themselves and they have a real understanding of the principles of excellence in primary education.

Our school’s location and extensive grounds enable us to provide children with numerous outdoor learning opportunities and great sports facilities from Nursery through to Year 6.

Our Year 6 pupils secure places in London’s top state and private schools (Cardinal Vaughan, London Oratory, Sacred Heart, Cardinal Wiseman, St. Augustine’s and St. Benedict’s) with highly positive feedback in respect of the level of knowledge and understanding they bring to Year 7.

We welcome applications from all members of the community  - those with and those without a churchgoing background. Our doors are open to all visitors and we would be delighted to arrange a school tour upon request.

Mission Statement: Working and learning together with Jesus as one family. The principle aim of St Gregory's Catholic School is to create a Catholic Community, in which school, families and parish will work together, loving our faith, living our faith and learning our faith.

  • We aim: to create a happy, welcoming, caring environment based on mutual respect for all.
  • We aim: to be a school which offers every person the opportunity to be a unique, valued individual, sharing and developing belief in the teachings of Jesus, through our everyday relationships and dealings with each other.
  • We aim: to offer the children a broad, balanced, relevant Roman Catholic curriculum of the highest standard, which aims to develop their moral, cognitive, spiritual and physical needs and prepares them for responsibilities and experiences of adult life.
  • We aim: to develop the same spirit of care and generosity towards our multi-faith community as St Gregory, our patron, through prayer and living faith.
  • We aim: to strive to be a worshipping community within our families, parish and school, by celebrating meaningful and appropriate liturgy and ensuring prayer life is nourished, guided and developed

I have worked in many schools & met lots of people & cannot find better words to describe St Gregory’s school with all its management , staff and volunteers than a warm, safe home where everyone do their best to achieve great results not only in education but also by implementing good values to spread love, care, trust, honesty & faith. The blessing continues with the lovely kids & their kind parents. I encourage everyone in their area to choose it for their kids & they will never regret it.
