At St. Michael’s Catholic Academy, we recognize that parents are the primary teachers of their children. We are fortunate that so many parents have entrusted us to act as their partners in this teaching journey. St. Michael's students begin the school day in a creative and challenging environment and end the day with a variety of optional co-curricular activities, ranging from clubs to sports to service. Whether they participate in Robotics Club or join the Literary Magazine Club, students are given the opportunity to forge strong friendships outside of the classroom - friendships based on similar interests and talents. St. Michael's is committed to being the best school it can be – fulfilling the mission promise to assist our students to grow in their faith lives, embrace learning, and give back to the local community and beyond through lives of service.

St. Michael’s Catholic Academy is a Christ-centered, college preparatory learning community, inspiring lives of service, courage, personal integrity, and intellectual curiosity. Academic excellence has been a strength of Catholic education since the first Catholic school was founded in the US in 1640. St. Michael's Catholic Academy is proud to continue that tradition. St. Michael's graduates will have acquired a solid foundation in the academic core of English, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, Theology, and World Languages. Each student will also have acquired an appreciation of the arts, proficiency in computer science, public speaking, and will have pursued individual interests through courses offered as electives.

Centers of excellence have been established to supplement classroom instruction and further advance knowledge and skills, particularly in the critical areas of writing. The Writing Center is a place where students can work on refining their writing styles through better word choice, more sophisticated syntax, and correct grammar reinforcement, as well as experiment with different types of writing. Our learning strategists are available to assist students in improving study, time management, organizational, and other critical skills. Individual tutoring is available in all areas as well. We strongly encourage our students to take advantage of these added benefits.

St. Michael's is not only an exemplary college preparatory institution, but also a "family of families." We enroll students who demonstrate the desire and ability to pursue a college preparatory program of studies, as well as a receptiveness to the various religious and Christian formation programs that are essential to the St. Michael's mission.

We are dedicated to educating the whole student: mind, body, and spirit. We support the exploration by students of their individual and diverse potential, and we believe such exploration is the keystone for keeping the doors of possibility and opportunity open. We are a family of diverse students, engaged parents, accomplished and caring faculty, and a committed staff, but our sense of community doesn’t end there. In keeping with our Catholic values of service, we instill in our students a broader understanding of community – one that encompasses our local, national, and global families.

We nurture self-expression and mastery of technique. Our teaching aims to increase overall aesthetic awareness and encourages creative solutions to real-life problems. We also attempt to build our students’ understanding and appreciation of the rich and varied traditions of visual and performing arts. St. Michael’s state-of-the-art facilities include six classrooms for performing and visual arts, an outdoor gathering space with amphitheater seating, and the 360-seat Gloria Delgado Performing Arts Theatre.
