We are a happy, thriving school with a strong Catholic ethos. This permeates all areas of school life and is at the heart of our philosophy of education. Our whole curriculum is rooted in a religious understanding of life, where the gospel values underpin our efforts to provide a quality education for all.
In all that we do, we aim to create a happy and secure environment, where children want to come to school in the knowledge that they feel unique and valued as members of God's family. We aim to create aspirational targets for our children, increasing their potential for achievement in life, whilst holding on to their Christian values and duty to care for all in God's world.
Our aim is that children at St Peter’s will become confident, lifelong learners. We want our children to develop a love of learning, fostered through teaching which is responsive to individual needs. We offer an engaging, relevant and challenging curriculum and believe that children need to leave our school with the core skills and personal qualities that will equip them well for the next stage in their education, as well as in life beyond school. We can best achieve this if we work together and foster a positive partnership between home and school.
We, the family of St Peter’s, united in faith by God strive to learn and grow together to be the best we possibly can every day. Our approach at St Peter's is built on following in the footsteps of Jesus and enabling children to become well-rounded individuals. Our Core Values are central to school life and are central to the Gospel Values.
Each week a child is nominated as a Core Value Ambassador for displaying one of the Core Values. This is celebrated in our weekly celebration assembly and the names of the children are displayed in our family newsletter.
At St Peter’s our aim is to provide an environment where our pupils are safe and feel safe, where they are encouraged to talk and are listened to when they have a worry or concern. We require all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Parents and Carers may also contact us when they have concerns about the welfare or safety of a child or children.

I enjoy the hospitality of the school, having their children very behaved. 3 of my children (one in year 5, year 3 and year 1) all enjoy the education at this school as it is very supportive. They all come back home saying how much fun they have had at school, also having a respectable amount of homework given on a Friday. I absolutely approve of this school as it is very high in their reputation and they push the children to do their very best.

I am currently attending the school and I am really proud if it. With considerate teaching staff who teach extremely well, I consider it as the best school in the borough. They also have a huge variety of different clubs to attend to; and the children of the school are very lucky to have them, after, as well as before, school. I love everything that this school has to offer, from students, education, staff and curriculum, to attitude, loyalty and consideration. It displays a huge reputation and the headteacher is awfully passionate about his pupils; and that is why I care and love this school so much. I am going to miss St.Peter's!

During my thorough experience with the school, I have found it very supporting for my 3 children for both mentally and physically. The teachers in this school are willing to encourage the children to achieve strict and high goals towards their learning. They not only motivate the children within their education, but they also assure that the students receive a balanced fitness (during PE: Physical Education) and nutritious food which is given to them throughout the entire week of school. I recommend this school with my heart and soul as it has increased my children's ability, fitness and their love of learning above the standard of my expectations, which are very high for their educational studies
