Stockwell is a two-form entry primary school located in Lambeth for children aged two to eleven years old. We are a two-form entry school, with the exception of our Year 6 year group which have two classes.

We offer extensive and unique opportunities beyond the curriculum to enhance our pupils’ experience; our rich and varied extra-curriculum programme is one element of this and provides each child with the opportunity to learn new skills and develop their confidence.
Our Children’s Centre, located behind our school building, ensures our children have the best start in life. The center provides a wide range of free activities and support services to families with children under the age of five.

In order to achieve our vision, in the next 5 years we will aspire for the Jessop Stockwell Federation to be a center of excellence.
Our curriculum delivery is based on the principles of interleaving, creating multiple experiences so children encounter material more often. We deliver the teaching of our subjects through a topic based curriculum, mixing subjects to enable greater emphasis on context, and real life examples through the variety of topics we have chosen. This maximizes opportunities for children to practice their skills and opportunities for incidental learning.
