Textile Designer

Job Summary

A new company in Textile Printing is established in Kuwait and is looking for an experienced
and very creative Textile Designer.

Main Job Duties

• To create textile designs as per the trends and market needs.
• To create color pallet for each type of fabric in-stock and create color profiling.
• To creatively come with ideas on displaying the fabrics and designs.
• To create engineered textile designs for specific fashion designs/cloths.
• To meet with customers (Fashion & Interior Designers) to understand their vision/mood boards/aspirations and accordingly create special designs for them, follow up with them on approval, and retain the customers.
• To stay up to date with the market movement and present a weekly short reports.
• To coordinate with the printing engineers/technicians in order to ensure that
  projects/products are executed as per the requirement.
• To take responsibility and to be committed to assigned work and projects.

Experience & Knowledge

• Solid experience in graphical designs software such as Adobe Illustrator.
• Solid experience and knowledge about latest Fashion trends and market needs.
• Solid knowledge about textile printing techniques and how we can utilize our technical capabilities.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Excellent sales skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Education & Qualifications

• Minimum University Bachelors Degree in Design or Fine Arts.
• Minimum 3 Years of industry experience.

Other Skills

• Proficiency in PC operation, MS office and Excel.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator software.
• Ability to view and differentiate the color spectrum.
