Tianjin International school is one large community of people, and in order for the school to thrive, we need to be on the same page. Through regular connections with staff and parents, school leadership listens to the community’s thoughts and suggestions on how to make our school a better place for our learners. Young learners are gaining knowledge and experience each day at school, and it’s important we help them understand what they’ve gained. As learners mature in their understanding, the next step is to take what they have learned and bring awareness to how they can utilize it for the greater good.

Tianjin International School is accredited by Cognia, the largest education improvement organization in the world—demonstrating our commitment to learners, teachers, leaders and communities.Our campus boasts an indoor gymnasium, an outdoor soccer field, a performing suite (choir and band room), and a 350+ seat auditorium that promotes learning outside the classroom.With a spacious cafeteria, "The Landing" coffee shop, PTO lounge, and welcoming lobby area, there’s always a place for students, staff and guests to get to know each other better. We have a dynamic team of advisory teachers and counselors ensuring that every student is cared for and nurtured. Emotional or social difficulties are common in any academic setting, and how they’re handled is what matters the most.
Some children need help building emotional resilience, others are focused on navigating interpersonal relationships or managing stress. Our counselor focuses on helping students express their emotions, think logically to make the right decision, and make peace with people who are involved.
In addition, follow-up and collaboration sessions are arranged with students to make long-term plans for their social skill training and self-esteem building.
