You can’t encourage yourself to read more books if you aren’t actually interested in a certain book. Pick genres you already have a fascination with and dig in deeper. Don’t pick books simply because everyone else is reading them – find books that you find interesting.
It’s human nature to typically avoid (or forget) things that we haven’t formally scheduled, and that’s why we sometimes find ourselves indulging in lazy habits. If you schedule time every day to read, you slowly start to build up how much you read on a daily basis. Make reading appointments with yourself!
