Undy Primary School benefits from airy buildings, a dedicated Nursery, open courtyards, a forest school and a large playing field. The school is in a pleasant, semi rural setting on an elevated site in the growing village of Undy with views over the Bristol Channel and the Severn Bridge. We cater for children aged from 3-11 years from Undy, Magor and surrounding communities. The school delivers its curriculum and conducts its business through the medium of English only, except for the use of incidental Welsh. Children are taught, for the most part, with their peer group. Some classes will comprise of two year groups. Welsh Assembly Government limit our class sizes to a maximum of 30.

Learning logs are posted weekly on the individual pages of the classes on our website. The activities are linked to class activities and topics. We request that parents fully support their children in completing their tasks, that it is returned when requested and that it is completed to a high standard. Any parental queries regarding Learning Logs should be addressed to the individual class teacher concerned.
The class teacher deals with discipline in the first place and then the Heads of each Key Stage, then the Deputy Head and if necessary, by the Headteacher. During the lunchtime break, discipline is the responsibility of the supervising lunchtime leaders, who can refer to the head, or other staff, should the need arise. Our school charter is based on the “United Nations Charter for the Rights of the Child” (UNCRC). It promotes self discipline, well being and safety.
