The University of Applied Sciences Europe – Iserlohn, Berlin, Hamburg educates the designers and decisions-makers of tomorrow in the four faculties of Business, Psychology, Media, Sport and Design. It came into existence in 2017 after the merge of BTK University of Art & Design and BiTS University of Business Leadership.

The synergy of creativity, entrepreneurial digital thinking, and internationality mutually enriches the faculties and leads to new perspectives in teaching and research, meeting the needs of the job market in the 4.0 era.

At our university you complete a globally oriented program that offers far more than a semester abroad and foreign language courses. Even on your campus in Germany you are globally connected, be it through international projects, innovative digital learning formats (for example cross-border lectures) or in direct exchanges with your international fellow students from over 90 countries on our three campuses. In addition, our lecturers have access to the newest teaching content and research from our university network, thus keeping you up to date in your given field.

With our Professional Competence Certificate (PCC) and project-based programs we promote key skills such as entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, leadership skills, teamwork, social responsibility, and communication, which have been identified as important in collaboration with successful companies worldwide. The PCC gives you the graduate the opportunity to present your development and extracurricular accomplishments in a compact format and to emphasize your professional qualities in applications.

In addition, we promote the development of individual personality: Students are encouraged to realize projects on their own initiative in student initiatives or to engage in extracurricular activities. They are awarded a special certificate in addition to their degree, which describes their development in core skills. This is yet another opportunity for students and graduates to differentiate themselves from other applicants in their job search.

The University of Applied Sciences Europe offers 16 Bachelor’s and 8 Master’s degrees, as well as 3 dual Bachelor’s degrees and an online MBA program. The university is accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities and the programs are accredited by FIBAA and the Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (ZevA).
