University of Clermont Auvergne (UCA) is committed to developing educational programmes for an international public (dual-award programmes) and to enhancing its research at an international level. These two drivers have the wide support of programmes which consolidate the position of our institution in the international environment through the participation of different consortiums in European programmes and by our presence in cooperative academic associations such as AUF and EUA, and through our more and more active participation in international research and cooperation projects.
Since its creation, UCA has embraced the two main European political roadmaps for 2014-2020 through the Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020 programmes. UCA is at the heart of the Erasmus Internship Consortium for the whole catchment area of Clermont Ferrand. As proof of recognition, since 2014 UCA has been distinguished in the Shanghai ratings for its achievements in physics, and since 2015 is ranked 193rd by the Times Higher Education for its international development.
n order to obtain European accreditations and to build dual-award or double-degree programmes, it is vital to associate the English language with the teaching of French as a foreign language. The development of multi-lingual programmes has become a priority, both for our French students and for our international students. In order to rise to this challenge, flexible yet incentive action plans have been implemented for both the university schools and the laboratories.

It's a great college especially we meet a lot of FOUNDING FATHERS which comforts me in the fact that I came to study in Clermont! The only downside is that the schedule is poorly distributed and that is running on Saturday morning.

Adminstration division is excellent. Among them Morgane Bourdassol does a fantastic job; she is always available and deals rapidly with issues that need to be tacked. A great asset to her employers as well as students!
