University of Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA (referred to as UHAMKA) is one of the private universities owned by organization of Muhammadiyah which is located in Jakarta. As one of amal usaha (special task force) of Muhammadiyah, UHAMKA is an Islamic education college based on Al Quran and As-Sunah and based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution which performs caturdharma of Muhammadiyah Higher Education, which is for the guidance of faith and belief to Allah Swt, education and teaching, research, and community service according to Islamic guidance.

The main university that produces excellent graduates in spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social intelligence. Mission:

• Developing and disseminating the several of UHAMKA Guides knowledge and its use to promote Islam and improve people’s lives.
• Setting up smart and competitive human resources in various fields that have entrepreneurial.
• Preparing the cadre of organization, cadre of the ummah, and cadre of the nation in order to realize the aspirations of Muhammadiyah as the propagator of amar ma’ruf nahi munkar preaching based on Al-Quran and Sunnah.
• UHAMKA as the preeminent center of the Muhammadiyah propagation movement.
