The Ural State University of Economics

Ural State University of Economics is the university, which trains the economic elite of the Ural region, Russia, and CIS countries. USUE is a basic, multi-disciplinary university, where more than 17,000 students are being educated and their number is constantly growing. The University has trained more than 124,000 professionals in different sectors of the economy including representatives of business elite and governmental bodies.

International youth movement "Eurasian Economic Youth Forum" (EEYF) is a Eurasian in mind but geographically a global initiative association of intellectual youth from different countries under the auspices of the Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation (Rosmolodezh), Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), and the Sverdlovsk region government.USUE is one of the most active universities of the Urals in the development of international relations.

During its existence, the University signed 109 agreements on international cooperation in 29 countries of the world (Ecuador, Mexico, Uruguay, Guatemala, Paraguay, Benin, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Nigeria, Congo, Egypt, Iraq, and others), including agreements on development of double degree program in four areas of bachelor's degree and two areas of master's degree courses at six universities.Ural State University of Economics is the only university in the Urals which ranking in German listing for educational institutions 2007 was the highest (H+) that means public recognition of USUE diplomas in Europe.

Currently the University established stable contacts with the US Embassy in Russia, the US Consulate General in Yekaterinburg, the German Academic Exchange Service and representative offices of other organizations. There have been signed inter-university agreements with educational institutions of 38 countries, including the universities of Kazakhstan, Germany, Great Britain, China, and South Korea.Twenty-three professors from Great Britain, France, Germany, USA, Czech Republic, China, Ecuador, Benin, Equatorial Guinea, and other countries were awarded the title of USUE Honorary Professor.
