At Valencia we never stop asking the big questions about why we exist and what is our purpose. As we strive to have our students learn as much as possible for as little as possible, we constantly look back at our history and mission to make sure we're on the right track. These documents aren't just words to us, they help explain who we are and why we're here.

Whether you are looking to connect with people from your own country or explore different cultures, there are many cultural experiences to take advantage of throughout Valencia and the Orlando community. Florida-Linkage scholarships are available to students from certain regions/countries. These awards cover the out-of-state portion of tuition and fees. The Valencia College Foundation offers a number of privately funded scholarships to support current students.
International Student Services (ISS) has a staff dedicated to serving degree-seeking international students by providing academic, immigration and personal advising. We have a counselor on staff to assist with a variety of personal issues including cultural adjustment.
Recognized nationally as the best community college in America, Valencia is also one of the largest, with more than 71,000 students enrolled in 2011. We also award more associate degrees than any other community college in the nation, with our graduates going on to successful futures. Our A.S. and A.A.S. degree graduates have a 95 percent job-placement rate with an average annual salary of about $43,000.
Looking toward the future, Valencia will continue to seek innovative and effective ways to improve student success and serve the Central Florida community.
