Since its founding in 1996, Wee Care strives to be one of the top play based preschool in Singapore. Wee Care began as a provider of home-based midwifery services to babies and new mothers. Eventually, the services took on an educational nature, evolving into a private preschool to ensure that infants and toddlers developed well whilst their parents were at work.
Three years later, Parent-Child PlayGroups were introduced to give working parents the opportunity to develop deeper bonds with their babies and toddlers through motivated, directed and purposeful play. At the same time, Behavioural Management Programmes were added to the fold to provide early assistance to children with special learning needs.
Today, Wee Care stands out among the crowd of educational centres as the home-grown pioneer in research-based Infant Development, Early Childhood Education and Early Intervention Programmes.
It is one of the top centres in Singapore for the rehabilitation of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and other developmental problems. Child psychologists at the KK Women and Children’s Hospital (KKH) and the National University Hospital (NUH) of Singapore, as well as those at private hospitals and clinics, make regular recommendations to their clients to seek therapy services here.
At Wee Care, we believe that play is the best way to teach and to learn. Play however, comes in many different forms, and it also requires highly responsive and engaging play partners.
The main goals in Life Skills are to encourage our children to acquire important and adaptive competencies in caring for themselves and others. Weekly topics change, and incorporate fun and hands-on activities in cleaning, washing, dressing and cooking. Take a look below!
Our teams consist of administrative staff and managers with diplomas and degrees in related disciplines from universities and institutions in Singapore and overseas. Amongst themselves, they have wide experience in business management and development, marketing, public relations and financial management. They work together with the teaching teams to ensure that everything, from our programmes to newsletters and special events, are running in tip-top condition so that children, parents and visitors will have the best possible experience at Wee Care.
Our mission statement is an expression of what we believe and practise every day at Wee Care.
Wee Care’s Mission is to give all children an equal opportunity to learn in a safe and secure environment so as to graduate as confident, capable, articulate and creative individuals with a clear, strong sense of self and purpose.
Wee Care’s Vision is to be the leading provider of `best-practice’ services in early childhood education and early intervention in Singapore, Asia and Africa.
At Wee Care, we:

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
A lovely nurturing and enabling environment where children can explore who they are and their interests. As a parent I appreciate that and love the creative tools that are used to help children gain knowledge. I also find the hands on and focused approach for each child very reassuring. The special emphasis on learning by doing and interesting exposure visits across varied themes are quite unique to Wee Care and a fantastic opportunity for the children to truly learn.

My son loves going to school. And that is enough validation that this school has got it right. After a month of attending Bright Starts III, he is finishing his lunchboxes and has grown 2 cm! I am a happy mum!
