Wekerle Business School - as a prestigious educational institution - considers its mission to provide outstanding education within the Bologna system. Its aim is to create conditions for education that enhance the students’ academic and personal development by uniting high-level academic knowledge with practical education, based on corporate partnerships from outside the institution. The word ‘Business’ in the name of our school is of vital importance as it means that our trainings have a particular focus on the development of up-to-date and ready-to-use business skills. We strive for providing our students with tailor-made assistance in starting and building their careers. We are convinced that education exists only in an international context, thus we are prepared to accept a gradually increasing number of international students. Our management and staff do their best to create the conditions for ‘comprehensive college experience’, i.e. besides the up-to-date knowledge based on the latest scientific findings, we offer an inspiring learning environment and a variety of social events for our students. Wekerle Business School has a thriving academic life. We enhance our students’ academic activities in the field of economics and social sciences by editing a scientific periodical, organising conferences and round table discussions.

Articles of internationally recognized foreign and Hungarian scientists as well as of students are published in our periodical. It is a widely acknowledged professional periodical, which is eagerly used by the teachers of the school as resource material.

Our school joined this event and has organised many scientific conferences within the frame of this programme. Our Annual Hungarian Science Conference is held in November, where ministers, state secretaries, administrative leaders and leading business executives participate and give us the honour of presenting their lectures.

Leading business executives, administration leaders and highly acclaimed experts are invited for round table discussions allowing students to benefit from their professional experience in informal settings.

We provide a high standard research library for the students, teachers and academics of Wekerle Business School.

Besides numerous specialised books, textbooks and theses, electronic resources and databases are also accessible. We have access to the National Audio-visual Archive as well as to other significant EBSCO databases through EBSCOhost (Academic Search Complete, Business Source Premier, Masterfile Premier, etc.). Theses of the past years are also available in the library.

We welcome anyone who is doing any kind of academic research, as well as our students who are working on their theses. Internet access, photocopying and printing possibilities are also available.
