A GST school will be characterized by the development of independence of thought and learning in the pursuit of excellence. Students will develop their individual strengths and skills and build the integrity, self-discipline, decision-making and resilience necessary to their own success and that of others. They will develop an understanding of their social responsibility and the scope they have to make a difference in their local communities and as world citizens. Students will be able to express their opinions and passions articulately and confidently with due consideration for others. Students will enjoy school and their varied friends and be proud to be part of the school community and Trust family and the opportunities these afford them. Relationships will be characterized by mutual respect, the joint creation of meaning and a commitment to continual learning.
Students will have free access to an extensive range of curriculum enrichment and extra-curricular activities, including residentials that broaden their experiences and horizons. All our extra-curricular opportunities are offered free of charge.
Willow Brook has a strong tradition of being a school in the heart of the community. Children’s aspirations and ambitions are of paramount importance to staff, parents and children. Our school history is proudly displayed and valued by us and many ‘old boys and girls’ come back to visit and share their memories with us. At Willow Brook, we believe that the traditions of a school give children the security and sense of belonging that is much needed in our ever changing world.
Things that happen every year, every week or every day give a rhythm and pace to a school as children and staff create their own new proud traditions. Annual events, such as our Griffin Arts Festival, the Big Draw and our Sports Days, are well established and give us a chance to showcase our talents. The Willow Brook community is loyal and ambitious and it is our aim to provide the widest possible range of activities and experiences for children. Living in London does not automatically ensure a culturally rich experience, but schools are able to offer incredible London based partnerships and trips as well as residential stays further afield. All our class names are based on famous London landmarks or institutions.
We serve a global community and our curriculum will reflect that and make learning meaningful. Pupil voice is very important to us and our Ambassadors, School Council and Class Greeters are involved in shaping the future of our school. Our values are fundamental to our ethos and we actively educate our pupils to be ready for a very bright future!

I used to be pupil here and I absolutely enjoyed my years here. Just an amazing school. The teachers are very supportive and very helpful. Due to the teachers supports I was able to get all round level 5's in subject apart from maths where I got a level 6.

My Grandaughter goes to this school. I am very impressed with this school. It seems to have both a child centered approach where the individual child is recognised and encouraged to develop without loosing a well thought out and committed attitude to academic learning. I am an experienced and critical Early Years and KS1 teacher and have been really pleased my daughter chose this school
