At Yeading Infants we continuously endeavour to “sow the seeds of success” which we do very well by working with parents to nuture our children though these four very important years of education.

As Head Teacher of Yeading Infant and Nursery School, I am delighted to introduce you to our school. We are one of the largest infant schools in Hillingdon with 480 children between three and seven years of age. We have a very busy and successful children’s centre which offers support, advice and a variety of services for our parents, families and community. We have a large team of terrific teachers and superb support staff.

We work really hard to make our school a beautiful place and are very proud of the quality of our learning environment. We place learning at the centre of our school. We aim to encourage children in their strengths, whilst supporting them to embrace new challenges. Ofsted (2013) recognised that our ‘pupils have positive attitudes to learning and their behaviour is outstanding.’

Our school philosophy is to provide our children with the best possible all-round education in a safe caring and loving environment. We aim to create a culture where thinking and learning flourish. We hope to lay good foundations for future learning so that our children can become full and active members of society. ‘Across the school the curriculum is outstanding’ (Ofsted, 2013)
