The York University Renewable Entrance Athletic Scholarship was established to support athletic and academic excellence. These awards are available to full-time undergraduate students entering York University. Candidates must have a minimum admissions average of 80 per cent (or equivalent). To renew this award, students must achieve a minimum grade point average of 6.00 each year and enrol in a minimum of 18 credits. Effective FW16 the value of the scholarship ranges from $1000 to a maximum of $4500 (or the value of tuition and compulsory fees if less than $4,500). This scholarship can be held in conjunction with other merit based scholarships and awards however the value of all funding in which athletic ability is a criteria cannot exceed $4500 (or the value of tuition and compulsory fees) per year.
Appliction Process
Students must speak with the head coach of the intended inter-university team to be considered for this award, submit the scholarships and bursaries application available by the April deadline.
