Our mission is to develop Students with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. Therefore, Community School respects the individual needs of children; fosters a caring and creative environment; and emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, intellectual development of each child.

Al Waha American School will provide all students with an opportunity to use their talents and abilities to achieve their full potential in a safe environment that promotes a multi-lingual and multi-cultural society. It is our vision that students are actively engaged in accessing and discovering knowledge with the teacher, who is responsible for authentically assessing student work We envision a school where students’ achievements are the result of integrated instruction, cooperative learning and other research-based teaching methods. Through the use of the most modern instructional materials, we aim to provide an enthusiastic and innovative approach to teaching and learning that will produce students who are knowledgeable, tolerant, critical-thinkers who will become successful adults.
