Soccer Coach

Job Summary
A university is seeking applications for the head men’s soccer coach. This newly created position will be responsible for the development, coaching, organization and management of the men’s soccer program. In addition, this position is responsible for the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Player skills development and sportsmanship
• Player training and conditioning
• Oversight of all aspects of game and practice planning
• Recruitment, enrollment and retention of qualified student-athletes
• Weekend and evening hours are required
• Scheduling of home and away contests
• All other duties as required

Required Skills
CPR/First Aid certification is required and may be obtained on the job.

Experience
College soccer playing experience and a minimum of 2-3 years’ coaching experience, preferably within the last three years and at the college level, are required.

Applicants must have recruiting experience and knowledge of and adherence to regulations.
