Horizon International School (HIS) offers an exceptional and affordable British education from FS1 to A-Levels.
HIS is an accredited British School Overseas (BSO) located in the heart of Jumeirah, close to the iconic landmark Burj Al Arab and easy accessible from all major areas in Dubai. Situated on a secure and specious site, the school offers a peaceful and positive atmosphere that is safe, nurturing and conducive to learning.
The schools overall rating by KHDA is ‘good’, of which the schools Foundation Stage is rated as ‘outstanding’.
HIS is a multicultural school that follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum of England. Students will take a combination of IGCSE/GCSE’s at the end of Key Stage 4 leading into A-Levels thereafter.
Curriculum
At HIS we follow the UK national Curriculum of England and Wales, which is a 13 year curriculum, and children are placed in their age appropriate year groups according to UK standards. HIS is an all through school, meaning children start at FS1 and can stay up to A-levels aged 18. HIS follows the GCSE, IGCSE and A-levels curriculums.

Star International School, or now the newly renamed Horizon International School is a brilliant school. Our son has attended there since Foundation Stage 1 and all staff have been of the highest quality.
The whole experience has been excellent, and compares much better than some of the more highly priced schools in Dubai, it is an excellent school offering the best start in life for your treasured possessions.

My two children go to Horizon Private School. I really recommend this school because of the professional approach of the teachers and administrators. My kids are having wonderful time learning and enjoying their activities at the same time. Administration are open to parents’ concerns and suggestions. Academically they are rated very good by ADEK and it’s reflected in their curriculum and the things my kids learn from school.
