Faculty Position in Management Science

Job Summary
We seeking candidates for a Limited Term appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant, Associate, or Professor, or a Visiting appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the area of Management Science. This appointment may be for up to 3 years and is potentially renewable.

Limited Term Position
Applicants considered for a Limited Term appointment are expected to have an MBA or related graduate degree plus significant industry experience, or have or be nearing completion of their doctorate. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in case teaching in core undergraduate and/or MBA courses using a case discussion format.

Visiting Position
Applicants for a Visiting appointment are expected to hold a doctorate degree. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to successfully teach in core undergraduate, MSc, and MBA courses using a case/discussion format. The successful candidate should contribute to the Management Science area group’s research focus and be able to publish in the highest quality academic and practitioner outlets.

Candidates from disciplines including management science, operations research, industrial engineering and business analytics will be considered. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest in application areas such as revenue management, healthcare operations, operations analytics, strategic management science, sports analytics and statistical and data mining tools for big data sets. The School supports high quality managerially oriented research targeted at high impact academic and practitioner journals in all management disciplines. The teaching focus of the group includes management science, strategic decision-making, and business analytics. Significant industry experience is considered a plus.
