The School of Health Sciences has a distinctive research profile whereby evidence based research outcomes inform innovative teaching to provide the most-up-to-date knowledge and practices for workforce-prepared graduates. The School has strong industry partnerships across public and private health, disability, ageing and education agencies and is equipped with outstanding purpose-built laboratory and research facilities. The School seeks to provide a holistic approach to health care, encouraging multi-disciplinary collaborations that are relevant and beneficial to the community.
The School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Podiatry to undertake teaching and clinical supervision relating to the Bachelor of Podiatry program. In addition, the position will deliver and contribute to the continuous improvement of a high quality program that reflects contemporary professional practice. The successful candidate will be required to undertake regular intra and interstate travel.
To be successful you must hold a bachelor degree in Podiatry and hold current registration or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You must also have experience in contemporary podiatry practice, combined with a passion for teaching. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively contribute within a team environment are essential.
