  • Adopting teaching and learning methodologies that promote the best habits of independent thought, study and research in our students through the creation of an enjoyable, lively and creative process of education.
  • Integrating information and communication technology in the education process.
  • Enhancing the partnership between students, staff, parents and the wider community.
  • Developing the spiritual, moral and well-being of our students to become global citizens.

Doha Academy aims to provide its students with ‘an education for life’ to that extent the Academy aims to develop the ‘whole child’ in conjunction with academic knowledge. Below you will find a list of key values and traits which we endeavour to instil in our students:

  • Independent thinking and study skills.
  • Respectful, caring and responsible attitude.
  • Spirituality: well-grounded in the practices and teaching of Islam: engendering Islamic values and principles.
  • Positive and reflective outlook (a ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to learn from mistakes)
  • Motivated and enquiring learners who look beyond the here and now, want to learn more and have a genuine interest in life-long learning.
  • Team player: a willingness to participate and make a collaborative effort to achieve a common goal.

We live in a rapidly changing world, where must prepare our students for life in a society where they will work in jobs that do not currently exist, employing technologies that have not yet been invented. Doha Academy aims to provide its students with ‘an education for life’, along with developing the ‘whole child’ in conjunction with strong academic knowledge.

Our purposeful community is one which is inclusive, as we strive to become a global leader in education. Our purpose for our learners, is to prepare and produce the individuals who contribute to the 21st century work place and those who aspire to be leaders, entrepreneurs, and technology and sustainability experts.

I attended Doha Academy from 9th-13th year. They are all friendly and welcoming. The staff cares about our education and helping us grow. The outdoors is amazing and very beautiful. Overall, this is one of the best schools I ever attended.

I had really a bad experience in this school. Nothing to learn especially for primary it is very weak .They employee non native speakers in lower budgets so they can save more money . It is all about money. You have to pay 3 terms at the end of term 2.Also There is no arrangements .They took my daughter in grade 3 to the museum and there was no previous contact so they did not allow the kids to go inside so they decided to take them to the park while it was more than 45 degrees and it was summer time?.Also there are no exams no spellings for primary classes just online test for English and Maths. In corona time all schools arranged online lessons but they replied to my e mail we don't offer this kind of teaching in our policy.I thought they are disgrace on Doha especially we are in a time we need to support each other they just sent a bulk of papers to do and read ( how can I explain maths problems for grade 7 ? or science equations ).Moreover many teachers left while we are in April and we have more 2 months to work with no class teacher while they already received their fees.In grade 7 to 13 many teachers are missing and 2 teachers teach one subject for a class. Also they are non native speakers.Mostly classes are messy because of some students attitudes they are trying to control them.Teachers not bad they are trying but some of them ate absent mostly and others leave .Teachers don't care much because of the head policy no respect for parents and teachers.I hoped That they will change but nothing.
