English and Media Teacher

Job Summary

We are looking for an outstanding teacher of Media and English to join our School. The successful applicant will be joining an outstanding department, with GCSE results of 60% A*/A. Media Studies, English Language and English Literature are all taught at A Level and are very popular subjects.

Required Skills

• A certified teaching qualification in Media or English.
• Experience of teaching GCSE English and A-Level Media Studies. We are seeking to appoint talented, highly motivated and well-qualified individuals. You should have a proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching. Up to date knowledge of Media theory and analysis would be welcomed.
• At least 2 years’ experience of the National Curriculum for England.
• The willingness to commit to Extra Curricular based activities, including building on the department’s success with film competitions in the UAE.
