Little Genius Nursery

At Little Genius Nursery we provide a happy, warm, safe and fun learning environment, where children are able to prepare for their future through incorporating the core values of our curriculum.The Little Genius curriculum is based on British teaching methodology offering the children a broad and balanced learning experience.English is the spoken language throughout the nursery.

A child’s personal, social and emotional development is considered one of the most important areas of development within early years education. We know that children learn best when they are in a loving and caring environment in which they feel safe and secure. Our staff work hard putting their extensive experience to use, ensuring each child is well settled and happy at nursery.

We encourage children to become independent Little Learners within a stimulating, diverse environment which supports their natural curiosity and desire to learn. Little Genius follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS). This curriculum focuses on 7 areas of learning and development and one of its key principles is to offer an enabling environment in which children learn through play.

In addition, French and Arabic language classes are scheduled weekly with our specialist teachers. Islamic studies are also part of the weekly schedule taking place once per week. These classes are optional for all children and focus on teaching about cultural traditions and etiquette. If parents do not want their child to attend any language or Islamic studies class they can advise the class teacher and alternative arrangements can be made.

The daily schedule at Little Genius is full of educational and fun activities that provide a complete well rounded learning experience. Each parent will be given a class schedule after the first two weeks of settling. This schedule will be followed, however from time to time possible changes may be required.

It is very important that your child arrives at the nursery on time in the morning. Parents are asked to please make sure their child is in the classroom no later than 08.30 every day. Late arrival causes disruption to all children in the class and also means that your child will miss out on some of the scheduled learning experiences.

The teachers are extremely well supported by our team of classroom support staff who have a wealth of experience in the nursery and school environment.
