Target Audience

PMP is suitable for any experienced project manager responsible for all aspects of project delivery, leading and directing cross-functional teams; regardless of the industry.

How will I be assessed?

In order to receive the PMP certification, candidates must complete 35 contact hours in classroom teaching and pass the exam at one of PMI's exam centers. and pay a fee of USD 400 (may vary based on location). The four hour exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions.

Entry requirements

In order to qualify for the PMP examination candidates should meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate's degree or the global equivalent)
• 7,500 hours leading and directing projects
• 35 hours of project management education

OR

• Four-year degree
• 4,500 hours leading and directing projects
• 35 hours of project management education
