Course Description: This course is designed for nurses who want to gain knowledge and confidence when dealing with adult patients suffering from chest pain of cardiac etiology

Target audience: Nurses of any speciality

Learning objectives:

• Evaluation/assessment of the adult patient suffering from Chest Pain
• Interpretation of the findings: ECG, cardiac markers
• Standardized protocols for management of ACS
• Preparation of the patient for treatment according to findings
• Communicate efficiently to other health care professionals and the patient
• Handing over the patient in a standardized manner (SBAR)
