Certified Quality Auditor CQA®

Who should attend ?

Individuals involved with quality auditing, those who support the auditing functions within an organization, and those looking to achieve their ASQ CQA certification should attend this training.

Course Expectations

Participants will be able to:

• Understand the content covered by the five main domains in the CQA Body of Knowledge.
• Become familiar with questions similar to those within the ASQ CQA exam.

Prerequisites

You must have eight years of on-the-job experience in one or more of the areas of the Certified Quality Auditor Body of Knowledge. A minimum of three years of this experience must be in a decision-making position. “Decision-making” is defined as the authority to define, execute, or control projects/processes and to be responsible for the outcome. This may or may not include management or supervisory positions.

Waivers include:

• Diploma from a technical or trade school—one year will be waived.
• Associate degree—two years waived.
• Bachelor’s degree—four years waived.
• Master’s or doctorate—five years waived.

Maintain the certification

ASQ requires that you re-certify as a Certified Quality Auditor every three years—either by documenting RU credits or by testing.

This course prepares candidates to sit the Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)® exam.
