- To develop curricula and set learning expectations for Health and Physical Education for P-12 school students as per the P-12
- Policy and best practices and act as the liaison person for review and updating the curriculum.
- Design and develop Health and Physical Education curriculum based on adequate research and consultation with P-12 school faculty, staff, and stakeholders;
- Participate in the setting of goals and learning expectations /evaluation of Health and Physical Education subjects;
- Coordinate the review/assessment of Health and Physical Education curriculum to ensure that course is meeting intended objectives and P-12 policy requirements;
- Coordinate with Pedagogy and Learning Resources section to prepare instructional material for printing and develop outlines with the necessary basic detail to direct instruction;
- Develop and maintain research database that may be utilized to develop and review Health and Physical Education curriculum
