The American Community School Beirut, also known as ACS Beirut, is a private school located in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. It is an independent private coeducational institution offering education to students of all nationalities, ranging from Preschool, students aged from 3 years, to High School Grade 12 of the type K-12. It offers the International Baccalaureate and the Lebanese Baccalaureate programs as well as its own College Prep program.

ACS empowers students to solve problems with creativity and integrity, to lead well-balanced lives, and to serve Lebanon and the world community with understanding and compassion.

ACS is an accredited, not-for-profit, independent and secular American College Preparatory School serving a multi-cultural international student body. ACS provides internationally-enriched, standard-based curricula, preparing students for the International Baccalaureate, the Lebanese Baccalaureate, and the American College Preparatory Diplomas.

The mission of ACS Beirut is straightforward: “to empower students to solve problems with creativity and integrity, to lead well-balanced lives, and to serve Lebanon and the world community with understanding and compassion.” In these challenging times, especially in Lebanon but also across the region, it is crucial that our students graduate with the knowledge, skills, and attributes required to positively impact the world in which they live. I’m proud to be head of a school where this is a priority.

Week without walls is what makes this school unique in Lebanon. Their website and moodle are always up to date with a good deal of support offered to parents.
