Enrollment Data Analyst

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the enrollment team and will be focused on finding data-based insights from Scientia to help optimize enrollment outcomes for the Department’s clients such as Deans and Associate Deans. The incumbent will collect and assemble student-related data, prepare descriptive charts and graphs, and construct forecasting models based on statistical analysis.

The Responsibilities

• Maintains the administrative software applications, mainly Banner 8
• Provides Banner and Data-retrieval systems with technical and functional support to Enrollment Services
• Ensures the successful download of data from Scientia to the Banner system
• Promotes the effective use of and understanding of Scientia
• Produces Banner and other software reports as requested
• Works with Enrollment Services to ensure there is no loss of student data or control vis a vis, attendance records, entry/exit
• Maintenance of Faculty Access Program and Parent Access Program in Abu Dhabi
• Maintenance of Attendance System and processes in Abu Dhabi
• Runs diagnostics on and verifies semester schedules – courses out of pattern, not needing rooms, room to small, room to large, etc.
• Produces ad-hoc reporting
• Maintains the security of the system and assists the Enrollment Services manager to provide the right information to clients such as the Deans and Associate Deans
• Provides data analysis for the Careers Unit that enables the unit to work on effective employment strategies for ZU graduates
• Provides training opportunities for those in Enrollment Services who need help with data gathering and data analysis

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelors degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in date analysis within a university, or an equivalent combination of education, skills or experience.
• An IT background and experience with scheduling/education software
• A high level of knowledge of Banner and other educational software
