Job Summary
- Working with well-established and well-defined teaching procedures in a technical training setting
- Preparing and presenting introductory, basic and intermediate course materials as identified in training program plans
- Testing and assessing trainee performance and reviewing feedback on training materials
- Monitoring the progress of instructors, trainees and English language courses and coordinating the use of workshop and classroom facilities
- Instructing trainees in various industrial training program settings for between 4 to 6 hours per day
- Devising and administering verbal and written quizzes and providing homework assignments as a teaching method and to assess levels of trainee understanding
- Proctoring during mid-term and final course tests and participating in the marking of papers and in the assessment of trainee performance
- Participating and/or contributing in instructor training workshops, seminars and forums in order to improve teaching techniques and overall instruction.
