Inquiry

Movement disorders are a leading cause of disability across the globe – aging, disease, environmental factors and sporting hazard can all take a toll on our bodies. Physiotherapists work with people of all ages and with a wide range of health conditions to prevent and treat musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions in order to maximise quality of life.

This course – the only three-year masters-level, professional-entry physiotherapy course in New South Wales – will develop your skills so that when you graduate you're able to effectively assess, diagnose, treat and educate people with movement disorders.

Key Features

  • This course combines coursework with more than 1000 hours of supervised clinical practice.
  • You'll learn from leading physiotherapy academics and researchers, as well as expert clinicians.
  • You'll have access to state-of-the-art specialised teaching facilities that simulate authentic clinical environments such as a rehabilitation gym and a clinic.
  • This course offers a smaller cohort than most comparable courses, meaning you'll have greater interaction with your teachers.
  • In your third year, you'll learn more advanced physiotherapy skills as well as skills in business management, leadership and advocacy, which will make you more employable.
