Master of Biotechnology
With the world population rapidly growing, the need for products and technologies that can produce sustainable food sources, create cleaner fuels, reduce our environmental footprint and combat disease also grows. Biotechnology which has been employed for thousands of years in agriculture, food production and medicine utilises cellular and biomolecular processes to develop such products and technologies.
This course will equip you with a core competency in advanced molecular biotechnology approaches so that you're primed for a career that is vital to improving our lives and the health of our planet.
Those already working in or wanting to advance in the biotechnologyarea, and those wanting to gain an understanding of a multidisciplinaryapproach to biotechnology practice and research.

Units are what we call subjects. Most full-time students take four units – each worth a fixed number of credit points – per session.
Most postgraduate courses require a successfully completed Australian bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised institution and may also require a specific grade point average (GPA). Our admissions team will determine whether your qualification meets the requirements.
