Abu Dhabi requires IT specialists and Managers, in particular female IT managers. There are many employment opportunities for Emiratis to work in government and companies in IT Networking many of which offer female only working environments. ADVETI Institutes offer Level 4 Certificate, Level 5 diploma, Level 6 Advanced diploma and pathways to a Bachelor degree in Networking. Graduates from the Networking Diploma and Advance diploma Programmes can enter Abu Dhabi Polytechnic as a result of an articulation agreement. Agreements with other Emirates Universities are under discussion. The qualifications are accredited by the National Qualification Authority (NQA).

Level 4 Networking Certificate equips students with the necessary skills to gain successful employment in the IT Industry. Learners will develop their understanding of the IT business and workplace context and where Networking fits in within this wide Industry with the use of English in the IT context central to learning. As learners progress through the programme a deeper IT content is developed which also includes basics of Networks, Operating System setup and elements of project management. Successful completion of the Level 4 Certificate can lead to direct access to the IT Networking Diploma programme.
NQA Diploma in IT Networking
Level 5 Networking Diploma equips students with the necessary skills to undertake a range of job roles in the IT Industry, in some cases student sponsorship may be available. Learners will develop an understanding of business, English and IT applications in the IT context which is central to learning. As learners progress through their programme they will develop a more advanced understanding of the use of Networks and Systems in a business context, computer security and monitoring with and develop a real understanding of UAE workplace practices and including environment, health and safety procedures.

Multimedia is a fast growing Industry across the UAE and impacts on every aspect of our daily lives. Advances in technology and social media require a continued source of technically capable creative people. ADVETI Institutes offer Multimedia at Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma and pathways to a Bachelor degree. Negotiation of an articulation agreement with HCT is underway with progression routes to Higher Diplomas and Bachelor’s in IT Multimedia. The Multimedia programme provides a comprehensive introduction to various aspects of digital media production, and leads to many opportunities for work in Government and private sector organisations. The qualifications are accredited by the National Qualification Authority (NQA).
NQA Certificate in IT Multimedia
The Certificate 4 Programme will introduce you to working with cameras and photography, the tools involved in the manipulation of digital images, video and audio. The course includes the design and development of web pages and the visualisation of information. The course will then go on to discuss the basics of design, using and manipulating digital images and 3D computer graphics. It will also promote and develop your understanding of business and your use of English and IT applications, as well as an introduction to UAE workplace practices and EHS procedures.
NQA Diploma in IT Multimedia
The Diploma 5 programme widens the understanding of Multimedia and explores it’s application in government and industry. Elements of story-telling and narrative with graphical output are discussed as well as the presentation of information. You will develop knowledge of IT requirements in a media company, design and develop a multimedia product, develop 2D & 3D animations, develop 3D models and images and manage a multimedia project. The Diploma programme ensures you develop the creativity and innovation skills required to compete successfully in the Multimedia Industry. UAE workplace practices, EHS procedures and English will be further developed Diploma level.
