Description

If you’ve already completed the introductory course in American Sign language then this is the next step in your ASL learning. This course is designed to continue your skills developed in expressive signing by building on the previous knowledge of ASL alphabets, expressions, body language, and basic vocabulary. The focus of this course is to prepare you for non-verbal interaction and communication with members of the deaf community in real-world scenarios, develop fluency to understand and use more advanced topics and sentence structure. Learning topics also include an insight into the deaf community, so you gain a better appreciation for their culture and can also get actively involved.
