Duke-NUS was established in 2005 as a strategic collaboration between Duke University and NUS to complement NUS’ existing undergraduate medical school. The school's curriculum is patterned after that of the Duke University School of Medicine.
The Yale-NUS College, which was established in 2011 in collaboration with Yale University, offers a unique, leading edge, and paradigm-changing model in liberal arts education for the 21st century contextualized to Asia.
NUS University Town (UTown) welcomed its first batch of students in 2011. First of its kind in Singapore and the region, UTown is adapted from leading residential colleges in the world and combines the vibrancy of campus living with an exciting learning experience in a global setting – one that fosters a spirit of adventure, inquiry and enterprise.

Very very nice campus. Not exactly easy to get around as it is HUGE but nevertheless a great experience. There are many food options from food courts to restaurants, even an NTUC outlet.

National University of Singapore... best university in Singapore and 122th tank in the world wise in 1918.... I have visited the university December 2017, for the conference IALP 2017... world class infrastructure.... So many University free bus services from the difference place of the city...

The school turns out great researchers and book smarts employees.
However, in general, it does not churn out well-rounded individuals.
For some reason, alumnis of NUS do not perform well in large social environment where people to people social skills are required.

An alumni here, during my time there are a lot of professors from overseas who don't know how to speak English properly and don't know how to teach. I always try to skip these lectures and study by myself. I don't have to waste four hours of my life for such lectures as I live far from it. The good thing is that nus degrees have higher prestige as compared to nanyang. This means a higher starting pay. With Singaporeans getting wealthier, being educated overseas would definitely increase one's starting salary.
