UKM is Ranked Amongst the Top 1% of Universities in the World. Since its establishment on May 18, 1970, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has not only fulfilled the vision of its founding fathers to accord Bahasa Melayu as the language of learning and scholarship but has also successfully produced intellectuals and scholars who are among the nation’s pride.
Starting out with only three faculties, it has since grown into 13 faculties, 13 research institutes of excellence and two commercial entities, UKM Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and UKM Technology Sdn. Bhd. It has thus grown not just in size, but also stature, becoming a research institute in various fields of study including operating various research centres.
Aware of the changes taking place in the academic landscape, UKM is taking steps to address them. One, is through e-Learning to prepare students through innovative teaching and forward–looking curriculum to meet demands of the new economic needs. Secondly, it nurtures research to provide solutions to pressing problems and at the same time engage with the community and industry, as a sustainable development initiative both at the national and international levels.

My experience at UKM , i had the best time at their library. It huge & most of the books or other references are available or in stock. It was amazing. Most of the visitor were students from other universities. Apart from that, they also have amazing cafeteria with all kind of food . For me, food & parking is convenient.

One of the best public research university in Malaysia even in Asia. Various departments and facilities open for her students. Local and International students make this university very effective and colorful.
The campus is easily reachable via major highways/expressways and public transports including RapidKL buses, LRT, MRT and KTM Komuter.Well equipped & resourceful libraries as well as discussion and multimedia rooms available. Various subscribed online resources including journals, databases and software are available to the students. Free wi-fi is available within the campus for the students.

I am doing my PG from here and it's a v nyc university. 1 of the best in Asia and also the fee compared to others is nominal. The science department is v good. People and teachers are courteous and students are not over burdened.
