Librarian

Qualifications required:

• Degree or post graduate degree in Library and Information Science;
• 5 years experience in the library industry; and
• Recognised teaching qualification.

Experience required:

• Knowledge of library and information services, systems, procedures and current developments;
• Experience and skills in library and information services, particularly information literacy programs;
• Well developed communication, negotiation, problem solving and information technology skills;
• Teaching and assessment experience in a range of areas within the specific discipline;
• Extensive knowledge of curriculum and related assessment practices within the specific discipline; and
• Understanding and ability to implement competency based assessment.
