Centrally located in the heart of Sydney’s education and design studio precinct, AIT’s warehouse-style campus emulates the kinds of spaces tech creatives love to set up shop in. This is because we want you to learn the skills, meet the people and experience the lifestyle of this kind of work.
Our campus frequently hosts external industry events where you will get to mix and learn with industry experts.
Every year, AIT’s students win or are short-listed in global creative industry awards. These awards are not just students competing against students, these are awards recognising global creative industry professionals working in the field. We know how much a badge of honour like this next to your name can open doors, so we help you all the way from entering your work to popping the champagne.
AIT is proud of the work our talented students and staff do. Take a look at some of the industry quality work that they have produced. Student Work: ‘Fractus Mundi’ by Aaron Wilkinson, Alessandro Scanu, Gracelyn ‘Bonnie’ Holmes and Ema Blaskovic.
As a higher education provider, AIT has three campuses; Sydney, Melbourne and The Cloud. Our Sydney and Melbourne campuses house an industry-grade Post Production studio, green screen room and large design and animation studios, as well as modern light-filled classrooms with lots of creative spaces to hang out with friends, study together, play games and dream up the next big thing.
We would love to host you on a visit soon, so you can take a peep and imagine yourself learning everything you need to know to build a career in technology.
Imagine a learning community where you are accepted for who you are. Imagine a team of mentors who are highly skilled and knowledgeable interactive technology practitioners. Imagine accessing industry-grade tech and having your skills nurtured, recognised and rewarded.

A cool place for studying. From the staff to the teacher, they are seriously in teaching and so much helpful outside of the class.

Teaching faculty is satisfying but management is horrible. I studied 2 semester there . In first sem I had my classes for 3 days and there was gap like 3 hours. In second sem , it was worst than before. I couldn’t believe they changed my timetable 3 times and I had my class for 3 days that include morning , day and evening . It was so disgusting and I appealed them to change my timetable but they didn’t give damn care. It is hell for international students like me. Now I am transferring my credits to other university and it is not my interest but it’s the result of poor service that I get from this institution.

Poor timetable ever !!!! They don’t have flexible time, they have only ridiculous stupid timetable which mean the student can be asked for come to the class just for 2 hours per day!!! . Imagine if someone need 1 hour to get to the uni, and 1 hour for get back. Hopefully they read all of the reviews in here.
So every new semester started, the students will be Q complaining about the timetable!!!
Poor student service !!!You need 4 days or more for meet someone in student service, if u wish to consult your problem!!!

Great campus atmosphere and community - some other colleges & unis feel like an emotionless office, but not AIT! Everyone is so warm and welcoming, and the place feels active & full of life.
The courses are great and constantly evolving to match the standards of the various industries covered by the courses. There's plenty of on-campus events and industry meetups happening throughout the year, and the Sydney campus is right in the heart of the Sydney game development scene too. You'll easily get industry opportunities, connections, internships, and jobs through your studies here - even after you graduate.
Never forget - no matter where you study - that your success is up to you. Treat your studies as one big group job interview - if you only put in the bare minimum effort, the job will go to someone else. Everything is provided to help you become the best & prove yourself to employers, but everyone next to you also has that access to all that too - so you need to keep putting in more effort than the person next to you if you expect to be successful. (This has led to an awesome skills race where each year's graduates are better than the last, and I love that so much.)
I'm totally biased in all of this: valedictorian of my class, Bachelor of Interactive Media (Game Design). Got internships at local companies before my final semester was even done - managed to have my choice out of 3 or 4 companies. Started making & publishing my own games - turns out we get all the skills we need to be self-sufficient creators rather than one-trick monkeys here! (Check out BigfootDS!). Now I come back and teach short courses and workshops while working on my own games, and do my part to keep the courses up to date with industry standards! Fun fact: Virtual reality and augmented reality weren't a thing at AIT when I was studying. Now it is!
Work hard and AIT will take care of the rest!

I recently graduated from AIT last year, after completing my 3 year bachelor in digital design. I learnt a lot and made good friends during this time. Since graduating I have been able to secure a full-time job with the portfolio I was able to create during my time.
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to study design.

I had the greatest time during my 3 years of studying Interactive Media Bachelors degree. I graduated 1.5 years ago, and thanks to the industry connections that AIT has got, I have had a chance to attend 2 internships and now got a full time job working in creating game assets to various Indie companies.
Before coming to AIT I thought getting a job would be easy.. After my time here, I now know it is completely up to me. To get your dream job, it all comes down to your impressive portfolio, teamwork and confidence. I have gained all that by coming to a small college like AIT.

Could be a better experience. Very expensive, they promised support with internship and jobs but they don’t even have time to talk with you or answer emails... After you finish the course they just don’t care!

I’m just about to graduate from AIT with a B of Digital Design. The staff and teachers have been amazing and couldn’t rate AIT highly enough!
