Established in 1975 in Terrace, BC, NWCC has expanded to nine regional campuses serving 34 communities where the College provides students with innovative programs that lead to sustainable careers for people in the North.

NWCC offers quality and affordable education and a wide variety of certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees. The commercial truck driving school was an answer to my prayers! I always heard it said, "if you enjoy what you do for a living you never really work a day in your life" I am in great gratitude for my instructor Keith Wilbanks and this Northwest program for helping me do just that. It has changed my life and I will forever recommend this program to others! Thanks Keith for helping me with my career!

The commercial trucking program at Northwest was a phenomenal experience. The awesome instruction provided by Mr. Keith Wilbanks was amazing. I commend him for his ability to have patience and confidence while students are behind the wheel. Mr. Wilbanks will provide you with all the knowledge and tools that are needed to become successful in the industry. I recommend anyone who is considering commercial truck driving to contact Mr. Wilbanks and take his course, their is no other commercial trucking program out that will compare to the type of instruction, guidance, and friendship you will receive by completing your CDL at Northwest with Mr. Wilbanks. I am grateful I attended this CDL program!!

I had several options available to me for Commercial Driving training, but I chose Northwest for 2 very important reasons: low cost, and high quality. The tuition is the most affordable that you are going to find. On top of that, you get ample time to train properly. With other training providers, they want to get rid of you as fast as possible regardless of your readiness to be on the road. They let you practice just enough to do it right, but at Northwest you will practice until you stop doing it wrong (huge difference there). Keith Wilbanks is one of the best and most patient teachers that I have ever had the privilege of studying with. If you are looking to start a career as a professional driver, then you would be a fool to go anywhere else.
